How to be a leadership? All most of leaders are not expert so, what are the good attributes that the leaders must have. One of the attributes is nature or good habit. Having a good habit promote the reliance form the subordinates. The combination of the nature and leader skill produces a good leadership style. In addition, a leadership is different form management and supervision. So, what are differences?
Firstly, supervision means to take care some things to be in the direction. The things that show the successful is the feedback from the subordinates. Secondly, according to the text, “Management means to conduct the affairs of business, to have work under control and to provide direction, to guide other employees, to administer and organize work processes and systems, and to handle problems.” (Heathfield, n.d.). To making a good group work conduct a good relationship between the leader and the subordinates. I like to show you a good quote of the person name Werren Bennis that is “Managers are people who do things right, while leaders are people who do the right thing.” (Heathfield, n.d.). That is the word with the good meaning and viewpoint.
According to the text, good leaders are not many because it consists of skills, personality, and ambition. There are three ways how people become a leader. First, the trait theory means the characteristic of a leader will show automatically. Second, the great events theory means crisis make a leader. Third, the transformational leadership theory mean a normal person is changed to a leader by attempt.
In my point of view, having good characteristics of leader make people successful because it make the dependence from subordinates. So, if people give dependence to the other people, it makes a good relationship between those people and can produce good works.
